Waste-to-Energy
An expanding field of application for catalytic flue-gas cleaning is the thermal recycling of household and municipal waste. The waste gases produced from waste incineration plants contain poisonous dioxins in addition to nitrogen oxides.
We manufacture catalysts to reduce NOx as well as optimized catalysts to destroy dioxins and furans.
Both flue gas cleaning processes can be economically combined in the same Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) reactor. Typical operating temperature ranges between 170°C und 300°C (335°F und 570°F).
